Waste & Renewable Energy Investment Projects
Our 31 waste projects have a total capital value of over £900 million and a waste processing capacity of 1.9 million tonnes per annum. Once the projects are fully operational, we will be generating 134MW of baseload renewable energy and saving 785,000 tonnes pa of CO2 emissions.
Levenseat Renewable Energy Limited is a waste processing plant in Lanark, Scotland with a processing capacity of 200,000 tonnes per annum. The plant, when operational, will generate 12.3MW of renewable energy. We invested in 2015 when the renewable plant was still very much a pipe dream – Levenseat’s Peter McLaren talks about how with our work and investment those dreams are becoming reality.
This is just one example of how our specialists are helping make a better future for our investors, for our investee companies, for our partners, for our colleagues and ultimately for the world in which we live.
