Following on from its recent appointment to manage the Acuity Funds, Foresight Group, the alternative asset manager, has been appointed sub-manager of Albany Ventures Fund III Limited Partnership, a fund managed by Alliance Trust Equity Partners. The partners in Albany Ventures include several blue chip institutions and Foresight Group takes over the management of the Partnership with immediate effect.

David Hughes, Chief Investment Officer of Foresight Group said: “We are delighted that our Private Equity team has received this vote of confidence from such large and established institutions. This is the third investment mandate of the year awarded to Foresight Group and is a testimony to the skill and professionalism of our team.
