Foresight Private Equity typically invests between £1 million to £5 million in MBOs, buy-ins and growth capital for UK companies. The team has a flexible approach to creating the right structure for each opportunity and is keen to invest in robust and profitable businesses with strong, experienced management teams.
The team invests with a view to enhance, protect and build value and ultimately realize investments successfully with a view to generating income and capital gains to pay dividends, deliver returns to investors and provide cash for reinvestment in the VCTs. The team works closely with investee companies’ management, usually through board representation, to define and implement corporate strategy, support and strengthen management teams, create value and plan for a successful realisation process.
The strength and depth of the team has enabled Foresight to win management mandates of established VCTs, such as Advent VCT, Advent 2 VCT, Noble VCT and Keydata Income 1 and 2 VCTs from other investment managers.
The team has extensive experience in managing private equity and venture capital investments and dealing with companies in a wide range of sectors at varying stages of development. With backgrounds in accountancy, strategy consultancy, banking, corporate finance and industry, the team can apply this expertise and experience to the benefit of investors and investee companies.
