Foresight offers institutions, family offices, high net worth and retail customers the opportunity to invest in established private finance initiative (PFI) contracts. These opportunities will generate stable, secure, inflation linked income under long term government supported contracts, offering a significant yield premium to gilts of a similar contractual term.
PFI is a way of creating ‘public-private partnerships’ (PPPs) by funding public infrastructure projects with private capital. Foresight has identified a number of opportunities to acquire operating infrastructure assets and businesses developed under Local Improvement Finance Trusts (a form of PPP) in which investors are granted exclusive rights to develop and manage facilities or manage a particular public service in a given geographic area or sector.
