Private Equity

Foresight Private Equity is one of the UK's leading and longest established investors in smaller growth companies, typically investing between £1 million and £5 million in UK based private businesses across a variety of transaction types, including management buyouts, growth capital, equity release ("cash outs") and mezzanine financing.

The team currently manages over £150m of investments across a broad portfolio of over fifty companies.

While many private equity firms have increasingly focused on mid-market and larger transactions, Foresight Private Equity remains focused on generating attractive returns for investors by applying its expertise in smaller growth companies.

We invest across a broad range of industries and our current portfolio includes investments within the following sectors:

Investments are typically held for between 4 to 6 years but as most of Foresight's funds are 'evergreen' (i.e. have no fixed closure date) we work with management to exit the investment at right time to maximise value for all parties.

With backgrounds in industry, strategy consultancy, banking, corporate finance and accountancy, the award winning Foresight Private Equity team work with management to apply their expertise and experience with a view to enhance and build long-term value and ultimately realise investments successfully.

The strength and depth of the team has enabled Foresight Private Equity to win the management mandates of established VCTs from other investment managers. Advent VCT, Advent 2 VCT, Noble VCT, Acuity Growth VCT and Acuity 3 VCT have all been successfully transferred to Foresight's management in recent years.
