Paul Andrews joins Foresight as Director and Head of Portfolio

Foresight Group (“Foresight” or the “Company”), a leading independent infrastructure and private equity investment manager is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Andrews as Director and Head of Portfolio.

Paul joins the 95 strong infrastructure team at Foresight with more than 25 years’ experience in sustainable energy ansd environmental engineering, most recently working at a specialist consultancy firm focused on sustainability projects, having previously held executive positions for FCC, Energy Developments Pty and Shanks Waste Management (now named Renewi plc).

Based at Foresight’s global HQ in the Shard, Paul joins Foresight’s dedicated asset management team who are responsible for optimising operational performance at more than 145 renewable energy projects around the world, including solar, wind and bioenergy assets.

Foresight is a leading investor in solar, wind and bioenergy infrastructure in the UK, Europe and Australia. Foresight’s investment activity in the bioenergy space is focused on energy production from waste-wood, organic food waste as well as undertaking waste sorting and recycling. To date, the Company has mobilised more than £1 billion of capital into projects delivering a waste processing capacity of more than 2 million tonnes per annum. Foresight’s current portfolio includes combined heat and power, composting, materials recovery and anaerobic digestion plants. At present, it is actively pursuing and investing in new opportunities across the UK, Europe and Australia.
