Adam Huckerby is an Investment Manager for Foresight MEIF Equity Finance. In this video, he talks about the investments we have made so far in the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP), from a clothing company to cloud-based ticketing technology.

The Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) was launched by the British Business Bank and is supported by the European Regional Development Fund, European Investment Bank, UK government and Local Enterprise Partnerships. It provides commercially focused finance through Small Business Loans, Debt Finance, Proof of concept and Equity Finance funds.

The purpose of the Fund is to transform the financial landscape for smaller businesses in the Midlands and to realise the region’s potential to achieve economic growth through enterprise

Foresight is an appointed Fund Manager to the Fund offering equity investments of between £250,000 and £2 million to businesses in the East and South East Midlands region. Foresight manages a £35 million tranche of the Fund and has deployed close to £10 million since March 2018.
