Annabel:

Hello, I'm Annabel Arrowsmith and I'm part of the marketing team here at foresight. I hope that everyone watching is keeping safe and just staying at home. I don't know about you, but we've had to adapt pretty quickly to this new way of working.

I'm joined today over zoom by Fabien Caqueret managing director of foresight portfolio company, Tudor group. Tudor is one of the fastest growing facilities, management and contract cleaning businesses in Manchester.

We're particularly proud to be invested at this point as the team at Tudor are working hard to do their bit to help keep communities safe during COVID-19 so Fabien thank you very much for taking the time to join me today.

Fabien:

Thank you very much for having me.

Annabel:

First of all, can I just ask, how are you and the team at Tudor managing during the COVID-19 outbreak? What's going on and what strategies are you employing?

Fabien:

Of course, but first and foremost, for us, the key was to make sure we kept our people safe. I think that's been our number one focus, ever since the crisis started.

I have to say our employees and our teams, have been amazing during the crisis, it's the responded brilliantly to the changes that we've tried to put in place.

As a management team, we've got daily calls, as you can imagine, reviewing the government’s latest advice, to make sure that, actually we change our processes accordingly, we've closed our offices, and we are supporting, the front line teams remotely and reducing our journeys to just the essential journeys.

Annabel:

And you've got frontline teams, so tell me, how is Tudor uniquely positioned in the efforts to help?

Fabien:

Yes. For, for us a lot of our regular work, if you'd like, as being understandably suspended, doing, during the crisis. What we've done is that we've expanded our specialists cleaning function, by training additional members of staff.

Through this, we're able to support a number of, essential, businesses and key workers within the transport sector, healthcare sector, but also, banking, food manufacturing. Our team, like I say, is uniquely placed to ensure that, we keep these spaces safe and working.

Annabel:

What are you doing to keep them safe? So, what's different between your normal work and the work that you're doing now?

Fabien:

Okay, so we've developed a, if you like a, a three-stage program for us.

From a, a simple enhanced cleaning program, so that would be as simple as doing the stuff that we normally do, but just more often and focusing on key touch points, right through to your sanitization, activity where we look at, minimizing the, complex within the office, right up to, full deep clean, disinfection service, where our staff come in equipped with full PPE, getting mass gloves, overalls, fogging machines, and, disinfection, but also, viricidal products that have been, designed to tackle, viruses and the likes

Annabel:

And are you focused specifically on Manchester? Are you cleaning businesses up and down the country?

Fabien:

We're up and down the country, our teams are available 24/7, very short notice. We've actually had a couple of examples already of, suspected outbreaks, where we got to respond very quickly and deploy our teams.

Within that, within hours, the places where we're able to be open there, their offices, which was great. It's throughout the UK on a 24/7 basis.

Annabel:

Fantastic.

Well I'm sure that's keeping you busy at the moment.

Fabien:

Extremely busy. Thank you.

Annabel:

Good, Well thank you so much for your time today Fabien and thank you from all of us at foresight for all the hard work that you doing to keep us all safe.

Fabien:

Thank you very much, Stay safe.

Annabel:

Thank you.
